SCREENING: In the Shadow of the Mountain gets US Premiere

My newest (completed) short film, In the Shadow of the Mountain, will have its US premiere at the Northwest Filmmakers' Festival in Portland, Oregon on Thursday November 2 as part of Shorts 1: This is Here. 

My hope when making the film was always that we would be able to share it first and principally with audiences in the Pacific Northwest region, so I'm more than a little excited that Portland is our first US stop. The imagery of the film makes evocative use of the topography of the area, and assumes a certain connection to the natural world that I think West Coast audiences are predisposed to. I can't wait to see how folks in Oregon react to the film.
